We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior AR Collections Specialist to join our team at Warner Bros. Discovery. As a key member of our Order to Cash process, you will be responsible for managing assigned portfolios, analyzing and resolving variances, and compiling lists of necessary adjustments with backup documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned portfolios by analyzing, resolving all variances, and compiling a list of necessary adjustments with backup documentation.
- Support collections process to help meet or exceed established monthly and yearly collection goals through timely invoice resolution and directing cash applications.
- Communicate discrepancies and coordinates any corrections needed with internal teams.
- Provide updates to senior leadership on payments.
- Communicate and work to resolve complex issues and effectively handle difficult customer invoicing requests to maximize productivity, payment resolution, and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Fluent in English.
- 3 to 5 years' experience in Account Receivables reconciliations/Collections.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or related field is preferred.
- Quick problem solver, team player, good time management skills.
- Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills.
- Experience in SAP ERP preferred.
- Great organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to self-manage to meet competing deliverables.
- High level of analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
- Complete understanding of the Order to Cash process.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently, creatively, and efficiently.
- Proven track record in meeting deadlines.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in the Media Industry and/or Media Sales is preferred.
