Lead of Directory Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Directory Services team at Takeda Pharmaceutical. As a key member of our Identity and Access Management organization, you will be responsible for directing engineering and service delivery for our on-premises Active Directory domains and related services, as well as our Azure AD tenant.
Key Responsibilities- Lead all aspects of engineering and service delivery for Takeda's enterprise Active Directory, Azure AD, and related directory services.
- Cultivate a collaborative and growth-oriented culture in the Directory Services team and the Identity and Access Management organization.
- Contribute to growing the Directory Services & IAM brand across Takeda.
- Support the IAM organization with strategy, design, planning, and deployment of IAM solutions and capabilities.
- Embodies a continuous improvement mindset by identifying opportunities for improving service design, delivery, reliability, and security.
- Monitor and report performance of managed Directory Services and Azure AD.
- Lead team with data-driven decision making, a 'security' first mindset, and seamless end-user experience conviction.
- Develop short-term/long-term plans and objectives for the services and supported technologies.
- Deploy new services or changes following operations acceptance criteria and change management procedures.
- Lead operations of infrastructure components, provide escalation support, coordinate 3rd level support according to ITIL processes and Takeda's SOPs.
- Define infrastructure service requirements and operations acceptance criteria for service development projects and external providers.
- Collaborate with counterparts from other functions, function groups, and across regions.
- 7+ years of IT work experience.
- 3+ years of leadership experience.
- Strong Identity and Access Management or Directory Services & Azure AD experience.
- Experience with deployment of technical capabilities adhering to Zero Trust guiding principles.
- Experience leading an MSP team.
- Communication - ability to communicate ideas and data both verbally and written in a persuasive and appropriate manner.
- Analytical skills - ability to analyze a wide variety of data and make appropriate decisions.
- Management - ability to set priorities, develop workflow processes, and manage staff.
- People Development - ability to assess strengths and weaknesses of staff members and provide suggestions for improvement to the line managers.
- Independently drive solutions and focus on results.
- Experience drafting/executing a Business Impact Analysis and Disaster Recovery Plans.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience.
- Worked in a Cyber Security Organization.
- Experience working in a regulated industry (i.e. SOX, GxP) including IQ/OQ.
- Project management experience.
- AWS/Azure/On-prem base infrastructure knowledge.
- Experience with agile project management to plan and execute organizational and team initiatives.
