About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Directory Services team at Takeda Pharmaceutical. As a key member of our Identity and Access Management organization, you will be responsible for directing engineering and service delivery for our on-premises Active Directory domains and related services, as well as our Azure AD tenant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all aspects of engineering and service delivery for Takeda's enterprise Active Directory, Azure AD, and related directory services.
  • Cultivate a collaborative and growth-oriented culture in the Directory Services team and the Identity and Access Management organization.
  • Contribute to growing the Directory Services & IAM brand across Takeda.
  • Support the IAM organization with strategy, design, planning, and deployment of IAM solutions and capabilities.
  • Embodies a continuous improvement mindset by identifying opportunities for improving service design, delivery, reliability, and security.
  • Monitor and report performance of managed Directory Services and Azure AD.
  • Lead team with data-driven decision making, a 'security' first mindset, and seamless end-user experience conviction.
  • Develop short-term/long-term plans and objectives for the services and supported technologies.
  • Deploy new services or changes following operations acceptance criteria and change management procedures.
  • Lead operations of infrastructure components, provide escalation support, coordinate 3rd level support according to ITIL processes and Takeda's SOPs.
  • Define infrastructure service requirements and operations acceptance criteria for service development projects and external providers.
  • Collaborate with counterparts from other functions, function groups, and across regions.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of IT work experience.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience.
  • Strong Identity and Access Management or Directory Services & Azure AD experience.
  • Experience with deployment of technical capabilities adhering to Zero Trust guiding principles.
  • Experience leading an MSP team.
  • Communication - ability to communicate ideas and data both verbally and written in a persuasive and appropriate manner.
  • Analytical skills - ability to analyze a wide variety of data and make appropriate decisions.
  • Management - ability to set priorities, develop workflow processes, and manage staff.
  • People Development - ability to assess strengths and weaknesses of staff members and provide suggestions for improvement to the line managers.
  • Independently drive solutions and focus on results.
  • Experience drafting/executing a Business Impact Analysis and Disaster Recovery Plans.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience.
  • Worked in a Cyber Security Organization.
  • Experience working in a regulated industry (i.e. SOX, GxP) including IQ/OQ.
  • Project management experience.
  • AWS/Azure/On-prem base infrastructure knowledge.
  • Experience with agile project management to plan and execute organizational and team initiatives.
  • Jira knowledge and experience.
