About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Professional to join our team at Freudenberg. As a Key Account Professional, you will be responsible for developing and growing the business of our customers' portfolio in the relevant aspects of Distribution, Sales, Key Account Management, and Category Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute annual customer plans to drive business growth and category development.
  • Define and implement trading conditions through negotiations and monitoring.
  • Promote new products in the assortment matrix of customers.
  • Develop and execute marketing standards and promotional grids with customers.
  • Forecast sales volumes on a monthly basis.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Execute trade marketing budgets and plans for Key Accounts.
  • Develop and prepare sales reports and budget controls.
  • Build effective relationships with customers and act as the key interface between the customer and all relevant divisions.
  • Identify white spots and implement effective onboarding of new clients.

Interactions (internal & external):

  • Local Marketing, Logistics, Finance, Field Salesforce.
  • Retailers, 3rd party Merchandising Companies.
  • International Key Account Managers, sales and brand group responsible.

Qualifications:

  • University degree.
  • 3-5 years of FMCG Key Account Management experience.

Specific Knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Key Account Management, customers, and competitors.
  • Good understanding of overall sales processes, including marketing, finance, and logistics.
  • Full understanding of client P&L and ways to activate.
  • Good understanding of key financial figures.

Specific Skills:

  • Strong communication and ability to manage change.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking.
  • Good negotiation, influencing, and conflict mediation skills.
  • Ability to work in teams and individually.
