About the Role
Arrow Components Mexico S.A. de C.V. is seeking a skilled Credit and Collections Specialist to join our team in Mexico. As a key member of our Credit and Collections team, you will work closely with customers to provide payment solutions and maintain positive business relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect payment from customers, negotiate payment plans, and obtain proper approvals for selected payment solutions.
- Work with customers to determine reasons for non-payment of invoices and follow up on disputes.
- Take appropriate action on accounts, including credit holds, placement with collections, and holding orders.
- Collaborate with sales teams to review order release and customer master files, release orders as appropriate, and set limits on order releases based on research and analysis.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in a similar position.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Strong negotiating abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English.
- Ability to work independently with little or no guidance.
- Ability to build and maintain effective business relationships with clients.
- Demonstrated experience and proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Preferably with experience with Oracle or other ERP systems.
