About the Role

Job Summary

The Head of Distribution and Channel Development will be responsible for leading the national strategy for brokers, sponsors, agents, and direct clients in Mexico's territory. This position will develop and implement broker marketing strategies to achieve top-line goals by each distribution channel and with the right product mix.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the relationships with brokers/agents and drive the outputs from the execution of agreements to deliver increased retention/new business and financial targets.
  • Develop strategies and plans to increase engagement and profitable growth.
  • Lead the development and execution of best practices with product lines and other stakeholders, including:
    • Production Meetings/Salesforce: Lead the roll-out of monthly production meetings to drive retention and new business utilizing Salesforce.
    • Appetite & Value Proposition: Lead the articulation of our underwriting appetite and differentiating value proposition (including multinational & claims first) to brokers.
  • Broker Experience: Review broker surveys and agree actions to improve broker experience.
  • Achievement of sales budget by line of business and all targets determined by the company.
  • Coordinate the activities of executives in charge of maintaining relationships and portfolios with each broker to achieve production budget and engagement targets.
  • Monitor the performance of each executive to guarantee business portfolio growth and develop relationships with appointed brokers.
  • Work on the retention of the current portfolio through high levels of service and anticipated renewals, including:
    • Identifying prospects and major pipeline in LOB according to the company's risk appetite and sales strategy of brokers.
  • Organize and coordinate events, seminars, and trainings for specific brokers aligned with our risk appetite.
  • Identify brokers with growth potential and develop them.
