Strategic Director of Affluent Products

About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Director to lead our affluent product strategy across the Latin America and Caribbean region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive growth, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive product growth and innovation in the affluent segment.
- Lead cross-functional teams to launch new products and services, ensuring successful execution and optimal performance.
- Monitor product performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to drive business growth.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and articulate product requirements, develop and champion changes to rules, policies, and programs.
- Leverage technology and Visa capabilities to develop, refine, and execute Visa's value proposition for affluent products.
- Engage closely with local, regional, and global teams to influence development and roadmap of solutions for the region, and support execution at market level.
- Exhibit leadership behaviors in respect of being an advocate of Visa's solutions and initiatives in the industry, including preparation and delivery of 'the Visa narrative' at forums, conferences, and customer events.
- Play a major role in driving commercialization outcomes, including client-facing engagements in partnership with market Solutions teams.
- Maintain a strong focus on ensuring our culture, place of work, and collaboration opportunities provide employees the opportunity for personal and professional development.
Key Qualifications
- 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD.
- More than 10 years of relevant experience in the payments industry, affluent segment, financial services, and/or previous strategy functional experience in a global organization.
- Experience in ultra high-net worth, high value, and mass affluent segment, mainly in value propositions and execution of services and experiences for the segment.
- Deep knowledge in these segment needs, preferences, types of communication, and strong level of orientation to detail.
- Experience in and/or significant exposure to the payments industry, track record of transformation/change agent.
- Product development, UX, and product management experience with strong awareness of trends in affluent consumer payment preferences, services, value propositions, communication, and technology usage.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required, Portuguese is a plus.
