Key Responsibilities:

As a Sales Service Manager at Danfoss, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales and service operations in the Mexican market.

  • Extract, prepare and analyze reports and statistics of key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales, manage inventory numbers, overdue invoice volume and purchases, with the aim of achieving business goals and monitoring KPIs and sales team quality.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients with high strategic potential, providing commercial autonomy, through in-person visits, supporting management in developing and communicating sales strategies to establish relationships with clients, follow up on startups, negotiate prices, analyze customer applications, make specifications, provide information to customers, and collaborate with the customer service team in customer management.
  • Prepare and send sales proposals (quotes) according to clients' needs, monitor their progress to complete sales, manage them through sales orders, and execute invoices in a timely manner.
  • Support products, solutions, and services in the market for after-sales services and digital services, develop contact with new and strategic clients, and promote participation in specialized fairs, exploring the market to identify business opportunities that result in effective sales, and analyzing the macroeconomic environment and its impacts on the market, in accordance with strategic sales decisions and business needs.
  • Continuously update the CRM and pipeline with activities and opportunities, seeking to maintain sales information in real-time, serving as a database for extracting KPIs.
  • Train, guide, charge, advise, and develop the sales team, recruit new employees, apply Danfoss personnel management programs, and follow personnel administration guidelines and processes according to Danfoss standards.

Requirements and Skills:

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A decisive and proactive personality, with excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical and Electrical engineering or relevant experience from a similar role in sales/sales service.
  • Robust experience in Project Management related to Post Sales Service.
  • Mexican market savvy.
  • High customer focus, negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience with technical support and warranties management.
  • Proficiency in the English language.
