Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Hsbc. As a key member of our Global Trade and Receivables Finance team, you will be responsible for generating revenue through the sale of our GTRF products and services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities in the global trade and receivables finance market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, coverage teams, and product partners to drive revenue growth and expand our market share.
- Conduct thorough credit assessments and risk evaluations to ensure that our GTRF solutions meet the needs of our clients and align with our risk policies and guidelines.
- Develop and deliver compelling business cases and presentations to clients and internal stakeholders to promote our GTRF products and services.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments to ensure that our GTRF solutions remain competitive and relevant.
- Extensive knowledge of global trade and receivables finance, services, products, and techniques.
- Strong credit assessment skills, particularly with regard to complex and structured facilities with an international dimension.
- Ability to understand a customer's business and the fundamentals of running a business, while managing working capital and mitigating business risk.
- Good level of business acumen and commercial awareness, including economic, cultural, procedural, and regulatory issues.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
