Our Team

We are seeking a Territory Sales Manager to join our Lubricants Sales Department in Mexico. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for selling ExxonMobil products and services in an assigned territory portfolio and overall sales management of that portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Implement a local sales plan to meet annual planning and budget objectives.
  2. Remain fully abreast of market conditions, trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
  3. Apply selling skills and consistently execute sales processes, including sales pipeline management, regular analysis, and follow-up.
  4. Manage credit and pricing consistent with defined offer standards.
  5. Support Channel Partners by providing sales pipeline coaching, account planning/management, and sell-out support to their staff.
  6. Effectively utilize internal expertise, such as Operations, Customer Service, Field Engineering, Technology, or Marketing resources, to deliver customer-valued solutions.
  7. Incorporate supply chain strengths in tactical account activities.
  8. Apply coaching and communication techniques to build positive relationships with channel partners and customers.

Requirements

  • Collaboration, effective communication, and focus on business value.
  • Preferably a Chemical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Industrial Engineer, or similar.
  • Recent graduate, no previous experience required.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience

  • Analytical, negotiating, and opportunity management abilities desirable.
  • Must know how to drive a stick shift vehicle (manual transmission).
