Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join our team at Rain Bird Corporation. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and market share expansion in your assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve exceptional sales results and market share growth.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, dealers, and growers to drive sales and market share growth.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns that support sales growth objectives.
- Provide sales training and support to dealers and growers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to sell Rain Bird products effectively.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to ensure Rain Bird remains competitive in the market.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 7+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of driving sales growth and market share expansion.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or graduate degree.
- Previous experience in the agricultural irrigation industry.
- Knowledge of Rain Bird products and applications.
