Nexeo Plastics seeks a highly skilled Senior Account Manager to drive profitable growth in a defined territory by delivering solutions to current and prospective customers.

This role is accountable for achieving volume, revenue, and margin growth targets by growing Nexeo's share with existing and new customers through the sale of product and service offerings.

The Senior Account Manager will report to the Regional Sales Director – Northwest Region and provide a mix of strategic and tactical solutions in a business-to-business selling environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing a deep understanding of the territory environment, current accounts, prospects, competitors, and suppliers.
  • Building strong relationships with customers to identify and address their needs and objectives.
  • Taking ownership of the territory and driving performance through sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships within Nexeo and within the customer organization.
  • Staying up-to-date on market, industry, and regulatory issues to inform business decisions.
  • Identifying technical needs of customers and communicating value propositions to drive growth.
  • Presenting to customers with awareness of customer context and negotiating win-win solutions.

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree, 5-8 years of plastics distribution sales experience, bilingualism, and a willingness to travel 50%.
