We are seeking a seasoned Sales Operations Director to join our North American Commercial segment at Zendesk, Inc. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales excellence and propelling our business forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Partnership: Serve as the primary business partner to one of our VPs of Sales, providing expert guidance and support to drive revenue and bookings.
  2. Sales Strategy Execution: Collaborate closely with leadership to execute the sales strategy for North America, leveraging your insights and expertise to optimize sales processes and strategies.
  3. Operational Excellence: Champion operational excellence within the sales division, setting the pace for innovation and efficiency, and ensuring seamless execution of sales initiatives.
  4. Sales Technology Expertise: Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our sales technology stack, ensuring flawless data management and utilization, and driving business value through technology.
  5. Performance Metrics and Analysis: Collaborate with the broader Go-To-Market (GTM) Ops team to establish and refine performance metrics, facilitating informed decision-making and driving business growth.
  6. Territorial Distribution and Optimization: Redefine and optimize the territorial distribution to ensure comprehensive market coverage and increased sales efficiency.
  7. Operational Challenges and Improvements: Swiftly address and resolve operational challenges, suggesting improvements to systems and processes to fuel scalable growth.
  8. Sales Enablement and Training: Work in tandem with the Sales Enablement team to identify and rectify knowledge and skill gaps, ensuring ongoing development and training.
  9. Sales Performance Analysis: Analyze sales performance, managing pipeline and forecasting with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  10. Financial Modeling and Resource Allocation: Conduct financial modeling to guide the prioritization and allocation of resources and investments in new market opportunities.
  11. Operational Best Practices: Document and disseminate operational best practices to elevate overall team performance.
  12. Global Strategy Representation: Act as a representative for North American sales nuances and priorities in global strategy discussions and Centers of Excellence.

Requirements:

  1. A curious and passionate leader with at least 7+ years in a comparable role, ideally within a high-growth SaaS environment in either a similar role or sales leadership role.
  2. An expert problem-solver, renowned for leveraging data to drive pivotal business decisions.
  3. Proficient in the nuances of data analysis and financial modeling, familiar with SQL and extracting insights from SFDC.
  4. Adaptable, entrepreneurial, and quick to act, thriving in dynamic, growth-focused settings.
  5. A master multitasker, adept at managing multiple initiatives, from broad-scale projects to immediate operational demands.
  6. A dedicated team advocate, fostering a collaborative environment while steering both individual and collective achievements.

Compensation and Benefits:

The US annualized base salary range for this position is $165,000.00-$247,000.00. This position may also be eligible for bonus, benefits, or related incentives.
