About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Account Protection Specialist to join our team at American Express. As a key member of our customer service team, you will play a critical role in detecting, preventing, and stopping possible losses for our organization through account analysis and charge validations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough analysis of customer accounts to identify potential risks and prevent losses
  • Verify and validate charges requested by establishments or colleagues assisting customers while traveling or in emergency situations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and provide exceptional customer service
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and company policies to ensure compliance
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to build trust and loyalty

Requirements

  • Intermediate English language proficiency and adaptability in different communication styles
  • Regulation and policy knowledge, understanding, and compliance
  • Digital dexterity: navigate between screens, system knowledge, Outlook, Office, etc.
  • High analysis capacity and risk evaluation
  • Adaptability and flexibility to work in dynamic environments
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • Schedule availability: Monday to Sunday, 6:00 am to 12:00 am
  • Availability to cover 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Proactive
  • Excellent customer service
