Sales Account Representative

As a Sales Account Representative at Wesco, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by developing new prospects and building strong relationships with assigned customers. Your primary focus will be face-to-face selling and account management activities to meet sales revenue goals by assessing customer needs and suggesting appropriate products and services.

**Key Responsibilities:**

Execute and expand assigned customer account plans in conjunction with management, focusing on billing margin initiatives through value-added services, marketing programs, and supplier engagement.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including cold calling and developing leads through referral channels, to increase sales and margin of the company's products and/or services.

Communicate effectively with customers and leads to understand their product or service needs, and suggest products and services that meet those needs.

Develop and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to customers, and ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management.

**Requirements:**

High School Degree or Equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. Prior sales experience required, outside sales preferred. Ability to travel to current and potential clients and suppliers, with occasional overnight travel.

Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with ability to develop and deliver presentations. Strong interpersonal skills, effective communicator both written and verbally. Ability to work in team environment, with strong Microsoft Office Suite skills.

**Working Environment:** Outside Sales - Work is generally performed in an office environment, but may require travel to customer sites or warehouse facilities. May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
