Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the store's business planning process, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives and goals.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive growth and profitability, leveraging local market data and insights.
  • Promote business case thinking throughout the organization, encouraging employees to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the store's financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving measures.
  • Optimize and develop store results and performance continuously, leveraging best practices and benchmarks to drive excellence.
  • Provide relevant, user-friendly business information, promoting standardized reporting and ensuring competence in the organization.
  • Secure that all investments are done with a proper analysis or business ROI, considering all aspects of different projects.
  • Lead and develop leaders and teams in the areas of responsibility of the BNO function, identifying and developing talents and securing succession planning.
  • Ensure a safe, secure, and compliant environment for customers, suppliers, and coworkers, implementing relevant rules and guidelines.
  • Manage property and maintenance, ensuring the store is in excellent condition and minimizing environmental impact.
  • Promote sustainability and work with the team to understand how to contribute to it.

Requirements

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Business, Finance, or Economics, with strong analytical skills and experience in retail processes, administrative risks analysis, and staff cost and scheduling management. They will also possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and create energy and commitment within the organization.
