Visionary Leadership in Supply Chain Excellence

Baxter, a pioneering healthcare company, is revolutionizing kidney care and other vital organ support. As a key player in this journey, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Fulfillment Operational Excellence & Commercial Enablement to drive operational excellence and process improvement initiatives.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will lead the development and implementation of strategies to optimize end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, production, inventory management, and distribution, to meet business objectives. This includes conducting detailed analyses of current supply chain operations, identifying areas for improvement, and developing and implementing plans to streamline processes and drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams to implement process improvement initiatives, maximizing best practices, automation, and technology solutions.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess supply chain performance, identify trends, and proactively address areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate supply chain disruptions and ensure business continuity.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the supply chain team and a direct team of 2-3, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and accountability.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in supply chain management, and incorporate relevant advancements into our operations.
  • Prepare and present regular reports and presentations to senior management, providing insights into supply chain performance, initiatives, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the Fulfillment and Commercial organizations, ensuring alignment of goals and priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 8-10 years of experience in supply chain management, with a proven track record of driving operational excellence and process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and inspire change in a multicultural and fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
  • Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma) is a plus.
  • Healthcare proven experience a plus.
