About the Role

In this exciting opportunity as a Lead Technical Business Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Eliciting, analyzing, validating, and documenting clients' business needs and requirements
  • Developing and improving business processes within the technology and business organizations
  • Understanding client requirements, specifying and analyzing these to a sufficient or expert level of detail to ensure clarity of definition
  • Recommending and validating technical solutions to meet requirements based on understanding of how technical solutions will impact the business and stakeholders
  • Working on significant & unique issues requiring evaluation of intangibles and use expertise to provide solutions to complex problems
  • Building and maintaining a relationship with internal or external customers
  • Collaborating with Professional Services & outsourcing functions
  • Researching and analyzing current processes and recommending tools for implementation within a project department or division
  • Ensuring that implementation follows the design and directing modifications of the design, along with ensuring system assurance methodology is followed
  • Proactively identifying, recommending, and implementing improvements to the process
  • Developing an extensive understanding of multiple Thomson Reuters technologies, products, and services

About You

You're a fit for the Lead Technical Business Analyst role if your background includes:

  • In-depth understanding of a Business Unit or function
  • Works on issues of a diverse scope where analysis of situations requires skills and understanding of current industry trends
  • Leads significant projects, programs and business initiatives, demonstrating creativity and ingenuity
  • Provides specialist advice to middle and senior management to resolve complex issues
  • Anticipates customer needs; assesses requirements and identifies new solutions
  • Solves complex problems which may be multidisciplinary or require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
  • Develops strong relationships and negotiates with key internal and external customers to identify future needs
