Job Function: Field Sales

We are seeking a highly skilled Presales Consultant to join our team in Mexico. As a Presales Consultant, you will be responsible for selling Softwareone Solutions & Services and taking a proactive approach to growing, landing, and expanding the aligned customer journey with current and new logo accounts.

Core Accountabilities:

  • Manage the sales lifecycle effectively.
  • Drive new business and sales activities at a customer level, partnering with field-based AMs within the existing regional account base and supporting customer acquisition activities as assigned.
  • Lead negotiations, coordinate complex decision-making processes, and overcome objections to maximize opportunities.
  • Analyze and gather business requirements from complex client environments and perform required research and investigation to identify and create thorough, accurate technical solution proposals based on requirements, aligned to the Softwareone customer journey.
  • Prepare cost estimates, proposals, and appropriate contracts for solutions and services sales.
  • Work with pre-sales technical teams to contribute to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommending options and courses of action; implementing directives.
  • Assist and support partnership/alliance functions to assigned vendor partner relationships, including being the primary contact for Partner/Channel AMs and assisting in GTM and business planning as well as driving forward programmatic initiatives.
  • Act as a technical evangelist for marketing activities, including speaking/presenter engagements at conferences, conventions, user groups, webinars, etc.
  • Partner with stakeholders and drive solution marketing activities by preparing and delivering content and messaging.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in complex technology services and solutions, consumption models, and business outcomes for client senior management and their teams.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft technology services and solutions principles, architecture, and management.
  • Experience and knowledge in selling technologies such as Defender, Defender for 365 Security.
  • Experience and knowledge in selling collaboration tools: Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams.
  • Knowledge in Defender: Intune, Defender for Endpoint.
  • Microsoft 365 certification.
  • English level B1.
