About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager to join our team at Freudenberg. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and growing the business of our customers' portfolio in the relevant aspects of Distribution, Sales, Key Account Management, and Category Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute an annual customer plan to drive business growth and develop the potential of our customers' categories.
  • Conduct annual negotiations and monitor the implementation of agreed trading conditions to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Present and list new products in the assortment matrix of our customers to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Develop, coordinate, and implement promotional grids and marketing standards with our customers to drive business growth.
  • Forecast sales volumes on a monthly basis to ensure accurate business planning and decision-making.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Execute Trade Marketing Budgets and Plans for Key Accounts, including the full Marketing Mix.
  • Develop and prepare sales reports and control of budgets, investments to ensure accurate financial planning and decision-making.
  • Build effective relationships with our customers and act as the key interface between the customer and all relevant divisions.
  • Identify white spots and hold responsibility for the effective onboarding of new clients.

Interactions (internal & external):

  • Local Marketing, Logistics, Finance, Field Salesforce teams.
  • Retailers, 3rd party Merchandising Companies.
  • International Key Account Managers, sales, and brand groups responsible.

Qualifications:

Professional Experience and Education:

  • University degree.
  • 3-5 years of FMCG Key Account Management experience.

Specific Knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Key Account Management, customers, and competitors.
  • Good understanding of the overall sales processes, including other areas (marketing, finance, logistics) and Key Account Management relevant processes.
  • Full understanding of client P&L and ways to activate.
  • Good understanding of key financial figures.

Specific Skills:

  • Strong communication and ability to manage change.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking.
  • Good negotiation, influencing, and conflict mediation skills to support rapid decision and problem resolution.
