Global Sales Leadership Expert for Cancun

Discova, a leading travel company, is seeking an experienced Sales Representative Leader to join its team in Cancun. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for executing strategic and operational plans, collaborating with customer-facing functions, teams, and support teams.
Key Responsibilities- Resolve customer service issues efficiently, ensuring high satisfaction levels.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with local hoteliers, excursion agents, and travel companies.
- Sell Discova's own operated tours as the primary focus, driving revenue growth.
- Ensure welcome packs, branding, and collateral align with best practices and are presented professionally.
- Coach the team to meet and exceed individual and team sales targets, led by the Host Team Leader.
- Support new hosts through training and guidance.
- Submit daily financial reports to the In-Destination Area Leader.
- Report health and safety issues or standard breaches to Operations and Product.
- Track individual sales targets daily and weekly.
- Access BI IDS report for informed decision-making.
- Lead by example in behavior, attitude, and performance, providing clear feedback.
- Maintain solid knowledge of corporate and local etiquette.
- Empower team members to take ownership through delegation and training.
- Stay up-to-date on the travel market and its associated impacts.
- Analyze customer offers and competitors' offerings numerically.
- Create a supportive environment that fosters connection and empowerment among team members.
- Set goals and deadlines, working towards achievement and exceeding expectations.
- Foster problem-solving among team members.
- A degree in tourism and hospitality is advantageous.
- Minimum 3 years' experience leading high-performing teams in the relevant field.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English is required.
- Proven people performance development and management skills.
