Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the negotiation and drafting of regional corporate discount agreements, consortium agreements, agreements with strategic customers, and master agreements exceeding $10 million USD.
  • Identify and mitigate contractual risks, providing guidance to colleagues on risk management strategies.
  • Collaborate with business units, legal counsel, and other functions to obtain approval for non-standard contractual positions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the company on contractual rights and remedies.
  • Develop and implement training programs on company contracting processes.
  • Nurture global relationships with key contacts outside your area of expertise.
  • Continuously develop your skills through learning and professional growth opportunities.
  • Contribute to departmental process improvements and project activities.
  • Participate in global calls and meetings via phone, Teams, or occasional in-person travel.

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of experience in negotiating terms and conditions of sales or purchase contracts.
  • Bachelor's Degree in law or business or a related field.
  • Hybrid work-from-home and on-site arrangement at a Rockwell Automation facility in the Americas or previously approved remote work status.
  • Occasional business travel within designated regions.
  • Excellent English speaking, comprehension, and writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Post-graduate law degree.
  • Experience with negotiating contracts for Engineered-To-Order Solutions, Engineering Services, Software, Industrial Automation, and/or Technology.
  • Confidence in public speaking and initiative to drive negotiations to a close.
  • Strategic business focus and a strong code of ethics.
  • Spanish and/or Portuguese speaking, comprehension, and writing skills.
