About the Role

Samsara is a pioneer in the Connected Operations Cloud, empowering organizations to harness IoT data and drive operational excellence. As a Technical Account Manager, you will play a critical role in helping our customers achieve their goals by leveraging your technical expertise, business acumen, and language skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Success: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their business operations and identifying opportunities for growth and value creation.
  • Technical Expertise: Develop a comprehensive understanding of Samsara's products and services, including APIs, hardware, and software troubleshooting.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Act as the primary technical point of contact between Samsara and assigned customers, ensuring their technical requirements and objectives are met.
  • Business Acumen: Demonstrate a strong understanding of customer needs and develop solutions that meet their business objectives.
  • Language Skills: Be fluent in English and Spanish to effectively engage and communicate with a diverse customer base in North America.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field of Management Information Systems or Computer Science.
  • Experience: Proven experience in technical account management, customer success, or a similar role.
  • Technical Skills: Exceptional technical literacy, with the ability to understand and troubleshoot hardware and software.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Business Acumen: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships and understand customer needs through a data-informed approach.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Python Coding Skills: Ability to provide enhanced technical support and solutions to customers.
  • Enterprise Experience: Experience supporting enterprise-level customers in a SaaS, IoT, or PaaS environment.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to maintain accurate account records and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
