About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Collections Agent to join our team at Maersk. As a Collections Agent, you will play a critical role in managing our collections process, ensuring timely and accurate payment from our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review statements of account and ensure attention to detail, adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and client requirements.
- Review business reports, identify outstanding invoices, and generate call lists/priority lists on a daily basis.
- Review on-account payments and advise the Order-to-Cash (OTC) team on payment application.
- Act as the communication interface between OTC, disputes, and other departments.
- Escalate high-risk customers to Managers for treatment.
- Monitor payment application and supply updates to the OTC team.
- Monitor disputes and ensure timely resolution.
- Respond to customer inquiries via inbound and outbound calls.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in B2B collections and/or order-to-cash processes.
- Previous experience in sales or customer service in call centers and/or Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) is preferred.
- English language proficiency (B2-C1 level) is required.
- Academic background in Finance, Accounting, or related fields is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel is required.
- SAP experience is highly preferred.
