Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Support Specialist to join our team at Conexionhr. As a Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability and reliability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement internal administrative tools to streamline system operations
  • Investigate and resolve complex issue reproducing scenarios to improve system resiliency
  • Develop and maintain test cases to ensure the quality of our products
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and fix bugs during internal testing
  • Work with the customer support team to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest bug-fixing techniques and best practices

Requirements

  • Upper-intermediate to fluent speaking and writing English
  • 2+ years of full-time hands-on Software Engineering experience
  • 1+ years of full-time hands-on experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, Vue)
  • 2+ years of full-time hands-on API backend experience
  • 2+ years of full-time hands-on SQL experience
  • 1+ years of full-time hands-on unit testing experience
  • Experience working in startups
  • Strong proactive communication skills
  • Strong debugging skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Java experience
  • Code complexity and big O notation
  • Experience with test-driven development
  • Developing with failure scenarios in mind, with race conditions and process termination during mid-processing
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent demonstrated ability
