**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Billing Specialist to join our team at Elite Corporate Solutions. As a Senior Billing Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our accounting functions with a focus on billing our governmental customers.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Prepare weekly invoices to government customers for multiple contracts/vessels.
• Monthly tracking and follow-up of unbilled receivables.
• Process monthly journal entries.
• Assist with account reconciliations.
• Review detailed supporting documentation to ensure it meets the requirements of government customers for billing purposes.
• Research and review accounting records for proper documentation, if missing.
• Create adjusting journal entries to correct errors in coding, when needed for proper categorization for billing purposes.
• Creation of overtime billing schedules in Microsoft Excel, with reconciliation to payroll.
• Maintain accounting controls by following policies and procedures.
• Other accounting functions as needed.
**Requirements:**
• Senior-level experience in billing and accounting.
• Associates Degree in Accounting, or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree highly preferred.
• Strong general math skills.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills required.
• Experience using Microsoft Dynamics software is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to meet deadlines weekly.
• Ability to organize and handle large volumes of documentation.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
• Strong communication skills and problem-solving skills.
• Teamwork.
• Confidentiality.
**Work Environment:**
• In-person work location.
• Opportunity for a hybrid remote work schedule.
**Compensation:**
• $24,787.00 per month.
