Role Overview
The Services Account Executive is a critical role within our Services Sales team, responsible for selling Okta Professional Services and driving business development. We're seeking an experienced services sales professional who excels in positioning the value of Okta Professional Services. This individual will be responsible for conducting customer meetings with C-level personnel, negotiating SOW terms and fees, and meeting Professional Services booking quotas.
Key Responsibilities
As a Services Account Executive, you will partner with the license sales team to scope, sell, and position Okta Professional Services, aiming to delight customers by accelerating their time to value. You will provide leadership and mentoring as needed to the PS Delivery team, ensuring a smooth transition to the Delivery team, and collaborate with the Customer Success ecosystem to guarantee deployment meets the sold requirements. Additionally, you will be responsible for the continuous improvement of services sales processes and methods.
Requirements
We're looking for an individual with demonstrable experience in selling Professional Services or Technology Solutions, who has met and exceeded bookings and utilization targets. You should possess strong presentation skills, demonstrating the value, capabilities, and differentiators of complex service solutions using methodologies and service offerings. Experience with technologies and protocols supporting identity federation and robust access control models is highly desirable, as well as knowledge of enterprise web technologies, security, and state-of-the-art infrastructures.
Problem Solving and Communication
You will exhibit confidence and a deep understanding of emerging industry practices when solving business problems. You should display certainty in driving requirements, estimating, scoping, and selling proposals, and be able to identify critical issues with ease. Effective communication is crucial, driving customer interactions, providing mentorship, and structuring SOW proposal development and PS sales cycles.
