About This Role

We're looking for an experienced Music Industry Business Development Manager to join our team at The Orchard. As a key member of our Label Management department, you will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies that drive growth and success for our labels.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with labels, artists, and industry partners to understand their needs and goals
  • Create and execute business development plans to drive revenue growth and expand our label roster
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless execution of label releases and catalog management
  • Provide expert guidance on digital release best practices and metadata requirements to ensure optimal results
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform business decisions and stay ahead of the competition
Requirements:
  • At least 3+ years of experience in music industry business development or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think creatively and outside the box
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Possess a deep understanding of the music industry, including trends, challenges, and opportunities
  • Proven track record of success in driving business growth and expansion
