FCM Travel is seeking a highly skilled Sales Team Leader to join our team in Cancun. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team and executing strategies to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local hoteliers, excursion agents, and travel companies.
  • Focus sales strategies on selling FCM Travel's own operated tours and products.
  • Ensure that welcome packs, company branding, and other marketing materials are consistent with our brand standards.
  • Coach and develop your team to meet and exceed individual and team sales targets.
  • Assist in the training and support of new team members.
  • Provide regular financial reports to the Operations and Product teams.
  • Identify and report any health and safety issues or standard breaches.
  • Track and analyze individual sales performance on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Have access to business intelligence reports to inform sales strategies.
  • Lead by example in behavior, attitude, and performance.
  • Provide clear and timely feedback to team members.
  • Have a solid understanding of corporate and local etiquette.
  • Train and guide team members to take ownership of their work.
  • Have a solid understanding of the travel market and its associated impacts.
  • Have numerical skills to evaluate and analyze customer offers and competitor pricing.
  • Create an environment where team members feel supported, connected, and empowered.
  • Set goals and deadlines for team members and work to achieve and exceed them.
  • Encourage team members to solve their own problems.

Requirements

  • A degree in tourism and hospitality is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in leading high-performing teams in the relevant field.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English is required.
  • Proven people performance development and management skills.
