The Order Management Technical Support Professional will work independently in expert areas of work to assist LA-Distributed OM, Sales & PM teams and Siemens Energy regional entities with inquires and purchase orders (internal & external). The ideal candidate will display a high level of critical thinking while bringing successful resolution to high-impact, sophisticated, multi-functional problems
How You’ll Make an Impact
Provide pre- and post-sales support and coordinating activities related to quotations, ordering, logistics, production/manufacturing related to products/Spare Parts, repair services, and solutions processed via SAP. Order Management Tech Support Professional focuses on supporting internal & external customer PO’s primarily from LA customers in Mexico but supporting the region. Order Manager Tech Support will primarily work with Components/Spare Parts for Gas Turbines, Compressors and Balance of Plant (Aux). Attend to RFQ and be responsible for total order oversight in collaboration with the various back-office support groups including Supply Management, Engineering, Materials Managements, Parts configuration management, Warehouses logistics center and external service providers (FF) and customers. Support Siemens Energy LA Distributed OM, Sales, PM and regional offices. Shown understanding of business, Distributed Products, and operational processes required. Familiarization with SAP integrated capabilities; Sales & Distribution, Purchasing, Inventory Management, and Finance. Specifically, elaboration of Material Numbers in SAP. Familiarization with export compliance and Freight Forwarders processes in order to meet customer’s requirements. Collaborate with factories, SCM and Product/Marketing groups to resolve configurations and technical changes. Flexible, solution oriented, and able to optimally prioritize workload. Familiarization of international transportation and logistics requirements and processes. Support Regional PMO Functions. Technical support for any clarification required by Distributed OM Professionals. Interphase with PCCs for management of "Obsolete Parts". Interphase with PCCs Engineering for potential fabrication of materials in region. Interphase with PCCs Engineering for potential identification of material replacements in countries. Interphase with the different team members in the LA organization for technical clarifications as parts technical sheets, certifications, Haz Mats, etc.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or similar field. 1-2 years of experience in Field Service, Engineering, Order Management, Logistics, Project Management or other technical field. Fluent in both English and Spanish, required. Familiarity with LA customs import and export regulations. Validated knowledge of SAP and Sales Force data bases. Proficient in business, technical, and operational processes. Understanding of engineering drawings and other technical documents. Effective communication and organizational skills. Experience in contract language, supply chain processes and SE repair processes. Opportunities for personal growth; to be involved with the new and growing process automation community. Expand network via collaboration with various regional SE entities and project teams meanwhile enhancing knowledge of SAP and Parts organization processes
