Evaluate the creditworthiness of customers using financial statements, credit reports, and other data.
Analyze risks to set appropriate credit limits and terms, considering payment history and market trends.
Create and enforce credit policies to ensure effective credit management. Implement systems to improve efficiency and decision-making.
Regularly check customer accounts to identify and address potential risks.
Manage the collections process to ensure timely customer payments, negotiate payment plans, and initiate collection actions when needed.
Prepare and present credit reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and risks.
Maintain strong relationships with customers to address credit-related concerns promptly.
Stay updated on relevant laws and best practices to ensure organizational compliance.
Support and mentor credit analysts, and collaborate with other departments to optimize credit management.
Develop credit performance metrics to identify improvements and optimize operations.
Perfil del candidato
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field; advanced degree or certification is a plus
- Fluent English required, other languages a plus
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in financial software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office; SAP S/4Hana experience preferred
- Leadership with experience in team management and performance improvement
- Knowledge of laws and regulations related to credit management
