At Xylem, you will have the opportunity to solve water by participating in our paid Volunteer Program, Xylem Watermark**THE ROLE**: The **Payroll Coordinator **will be responsible for providing payroll services to various value centers and provide assistance to internal customers (employees).**CORE RESPONSIBILITIES**: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.- Multi-state payroll processing in a Shared Services environment for both hourly and salaried employees. Perform all functions required to process payroll on time and accurately.- Review and identify differences of pay impacting data within the Workday system.- Provide various regular and ad hoc reports to Managers and Controllers.- Wage information for internal and external customers.- Work closely with HR to help ensure accurate payroll information in Workday system.- Support for Payroll Analyst**, **Payroll Supervisor and Payroll Manager.- Create, save and where appropriate sign support for audit payroll completion. Assist with special projects.- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related duties as needed.**QUALIFICATIONS**:***- 1-3 years of Payroll/Time and Attendance/HR/Accounting experience- Prevailing Wage/Certified Payroll experience- Workday ATS experience- Experience in a shared services/centralized services- Knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word & Outlook- Considerable skills in customer service, communication, problem solving- Detail oriented- Great level of accuracy and confidentiality- Ability to multitask and prioritize while dealing with competing deadlines and multiple internal customer teams- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English**SALARY**:Xylem provides a competitive salary, and the starting salary for this position will be based on the applicant's applicable experience.
