We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results Geotab is seeking a Partner Development Manager oriented by results, with sales and product background to develop, own and leverage relationships to grow strategic partners across Latam region.
**What you'll do:
As a Partner Development Manager you will develop strong, collaborative relationships within our product partners, acting as an SME of their solutions, supporting our sales teams in cross selling actions and other activities like pricing negotiation for large projects.
**How you'll make an impact
- Become a trusted advisor to our clients identifying their needs and crafting winning solutions leveraging Geotab’s industry expertise.
- Become an SME of our partners products to leverage cross selling initiatives.
- Collaborate with our partner account managers through the offering process to integrate our partners products.
- Develop strategic plans working with our sales teams to achieve ambitious revenue targets, fostering long-term client and reseller relationships.
- Through outbound market research and analysis, target new Partners that fill a need or segment and that align with the vision and mission of the region.
- Lead the sales cycle from prospecting and opportunity qualification to proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
- Monitor and update business development activity within associated tools and maintain a pipeline of activity through the development of partners, contracts, and resellers.
- Collaborate with internal teams (post-sales, delivery) and resellers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Build a robust sales pipeline by actively prospecting and identifying new opportunities across Latam.
- Develop a deep knowledge base of LatAm’s industry and maintain top-of-mind awareness of trends and shifts.
- Stay informed on the current competitive landscape including leaders and startups.
- Attend trade shows and speak at conferences to build relationships, brand presence, and thought leadership and identify potential new business opportunities.
- Provide input on new business opportunities, competitive analysis, market trends, and business environment.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop short and long term strategic plans.
- Support Geotab global strategic initiatives.
**What you'll bring to the role
- 5-8 years experience in sales, business development or a similar role, experience in product related roles is an asset.
- Proven track record in developing new sales and accounts.
- Experience in the telematics industry will be highly valuable asset.
- Great understanding of technical products.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish, including comfort with delivering presentations and training.
- Strong aptitude for understanding technical and business requirements.
- Able to anticipate and understand customer’s needs and provide viable solutions.
- A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and relationship management skills.
- Strong project management skills; able to identify needs, develop effective solutions and manage projects through to completion.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem solve well-judged decisions.
- Strong time management skills, an effective multi-tasker.
- Must stay relevant to technology and should have the flexibility to adapt to the growing technology and market demands.
- Technical competence using software programs, including, but not limited to, Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides), Customer Relationship Management (e.g. Salesforce) tools.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable in a flat organization.
- Ability to travel internationally up to 30% of the time.
