The Role You'll Play

As a Sales Account Manager, you will meet an estimated annual salary of $85,000 - $110,000, depending on experience, and grow a customer base that offers profitable growth.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Estimating and analyzing current and past transaction records, trends, and costs, estimated and actual invoiced sales, administrative commitments and obligations incurred.
  • Establishing a personal strategy to meet and support company goals, identifying and contacting potential new customers, and managing their individual needs.
  • Maintaining a close relationship with captive customers who have Güdel equipment installed.
  • Managing the prospecting strategy both face-to-face and remotely, efficiently identifying potential customers and their automation needs.
  • Qualifying opportunities effectively, both commercially and technically, to prioritize efforts on opportunities with greater probability.
  • Proposing competitive solutions, considering the budget and needs of the clients, and resolving purchase objections.
  • Interacting with product and system specialists (Engineering & Service) to determine appropriate solutions.
  • Preparing and presenting proposals, quotes, and presentations to support customer decision makers, with the goal of closing sales.
  • Maintaining ongoing dialogue and strong relationships with clients to identify future opportunities and conduct business.
  • Maintaining accurate sales records, forecasts, and reports.
  • Maintaining up-to-date sales contact information in the company's contact database.
  • Actively participating in trainings and preparing training sessions for integrators on the correct selection of our products.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering, Technology, Mechatronics or related.
  • 4 years of related technical sales, heavy equipment and robust automation solutions sales, installation, or service experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing sales plans with long sales cycles.
  • Demonstrated experience in structured, value-based sales processes such as KARRASS, Consultative Selling, Sandler, or Miller Heiman.
  • Strong relationships with customer contacts, supplier base, machine manufacturers, and integrators.
  • Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagrammatic form and to deal with various abstract and concrete variables.
  • High energy, self-motivation, and drive by results. Willingness to work as a team with all internal departments.
  • Ability to transmit 'The Voice of the Customer' in an assertive manner to improve operations and performance.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office products.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
  • Able to travel 25%.
