Job Summary

As a Technical Support Specialist at Ford Motor Company, you will be responsible for providing expert-level technical support to our engineering software tools. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, CAD/CAM/CAE software tools, and Ford data needs. You will work closely with the development team to escalate and prioritize critical issues, and collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure data management, alignment, and delivery from 3DX and Teamcenter.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide technical support for our engineering software tools, including troubleshooting complex technical issues and providing clear explanations to non-technical users.
- Collaborate with the development team to escalate and prioritize critical issues requiring further investigation and resolution.
- Work with the manufacturing team to ensure data management, alignment, and delivery from 3DX and Teamcenter.
- Develop and implement Data Exchange Protocol to ensure seamless data exchange between systems.
- Interact with manufacturing team and IT to understand downstream manufacturing processes and innovate solutions for new processes or issues.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Experience in technical support or a similar customer-facing role, preferably in the engineering software industry with coding background.
- Solid understanding of engineering principles and familiarity with CAD/CAM/CAE or other engineering software tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with an aptitude for quickly grasping and resolving technical challenges.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
