About Synergy Expat Jobs, a leading retail chain of home furnishing and textiles in East Africa. We are seeking an experienced sales and marketing professional to join our team.
**Job Profile**
We offer a competitive salary package of $1500-$2000 net savings per month, plus accommodation, local salary (food), and all expat benefits. Our ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in the home furnishing or textile retail industry.
**Responsibilities**
- Initiate strategies with directors for in-store promotions, marketing activities using technical information, and new product launches;
- Conduct team training to enhance sales performance;
- Devise marketing campaigns for short-term and long-term brand development;
- Introduce new products and launch them successfully;
- Build relationships with retailer's in-store staff to drive sales;
**Product Sourcing and Development**
Our sales and marketing manager will be responsible for sourcing and developing a range of products to fit in our retail stores, from identification of factories to managing the entire process until goods arrive and are on shop floor for sales. They will work with our creative team to devise packaging and ensure correct product information has been captured.
**Merchandising**
The successful candidate will plan in-store layouts and planograms, prepare product manuals, and technical specifications to enhance customer knowledge. They will also assist with visual merchandising ideas.
**Desired Profile**
- Graduate with 6+ years of experience in the home furnishing or textile retail industry;
- Good understanding of towels, bedding, bath linen, shower curtains, rugs, and all cotton textile home products;
- Technical expertise in home textile products;
- Aggressive and detail-oriented individual;
- Creative problem-solver;
- Excellent command over English language.
