About the Opportunity

Discova is seeking a Sales Representative Leader to join our team in Cancun. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team and executing strategies to exceed customer and business partner expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resolve customer service issues and implement corrective and preventive measures.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with local hoteliers, excursion agents, and travel companies.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to promote Discova's own operated tours.
  • Ensure welcome packs, company branding, and collateral are consistent with company standards.
  • Coach the team to meet and exceed individual and team sales targets.
  • Assist in training and supporting new team members.
  • Provide daily and weekly sales tracking and financial reports.
  • Identify and report health and safety issues or standard breaches.
  • Lead by example and provide clear, timely feedback.
  • Develop and maintain a solid knowledge of corporate and local etiquette.
  • Train and guide team members to take ownership of their work.
  • Stay up-to-date on the travel market and its associated impacts.
  • Utilize numerical skills to evaluate and analyze customer offers and competitor pricing.
  • Create an environment that supports, connects, and empowers team members.
  • Set and achieve daily and weekly goals and deadlines.
  • Encourage team members to solve their own problems.

Requirements

  • A degree in tourism and hospitality is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in leading high-performing teams in the relevant field.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English is required.
  • Proven people performance development and management skills.
