Role Responsibilities
- Analyze new business opportunities thoroughly to provide clients with the best market options.
- Collaborate with internal teams to secure shipments from clients' portfolios for new routes.
- Team up with the Sourcing Team to secure the most competitive rates in the market.
- Conduct productive onboarding meetings with operations, sourcing, and commercial teams to align requirements for new accounts.
- Generate quick and effective quotes to enhance the possibility of winning shipments.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience in inside sales roles within the freight forwarding industry.
- Familiarity with the American market, excellent negotiation skills, and strong analytics capabilities.
- Empowered and determined to make assertive confrontations when necessary, particularly when liaising with internal teams to clarify and follow up on requests to ensure results.
- Proficient organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Fluency in English (business level non-negotiable).
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding service.
