Director, Planning and Sales Strategy

About the Role:
The Director of Planning and Sales Strategy leads the Planning team, responsible for managing the TV Distribution and Home Entertainment businesses in Mexico, with direct sales responsibility and growth of the market. This role involves:
- Management of the Sales Administration process within the sales support team.
- Development of specific sales strategies to support staff, including Sales Senior Managers, Assistant Managers, and Sales Coordinators.
- Management of Long Range Plan, Mid-Year-Forecast, and Year-End-Forecast Budgeting and Planning projects.
- Monitoring and analyzing yearly and 5-year sales budgets and projections.
- Liaising with International WBD staff to ensure accurate sales data.
- Analysis of revenue statistics and data to build sales strategies.
- Interpretation of sales trends.
- Staff Training on database system interpretation, report creation, data entry, manipulation, and matching data to reflect actual and forecast sales.
- Management and maintenance of direct and mutually supportive relationships with the Executive Sales Team, Marketing, Technical, and Distribution Departments.
- Client database management and review.
- Responsible for leading the Planning team.
- Providing service and building proposals based on business opportunities.
- Achieving the optimization of the portfolio.
- Strategic building for commercial proposals (client/agencies).
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Advanced English.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and related databases for sales forecasting, analytical tools, and research/statistics.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in the media and entertainment industry.
- Minimum 8 years of team management experience.
- Knowledge of international media, online, and wireless business.
- Knowledge of planning tools.
