About the Role

DroneShield is seeking a seasoned Sales Manager or Sales Director to join its team in LATAM. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sales success in the defence or security sector, with a focus on smaller system integrator experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy for the region
  • Create and prioritize target account lists
  • Prospect and qualify leads using various sources
  • Collaborate with the broader team to set meetings, conduct demos, and visit prospects
  • Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications
  • Represent DroneShield at industry events
  • Conduct demonstrations and installations of the DroneShield systems
  • Provide input on product manuals and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Assist in providing distributor and end-customer training in product use
Requirements
  • 5-15 years of sales experience, ideally including C-UAS sales
  • Defence or security sector experience is a must
  • Technical degree is well-regarded, and in its absence, a demonstrated track record of working with complex RF, radar, or similar technologies
  • Proven track record of success
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a geographically distributed team
  • Excellent written/verbal communication
  • Motivated self-starter
  • High degree of attention to detail
  • Creative lateral thinker
