BAT MEXICO IS HIRING A COMMERCIAL PERFORMANCE EXECUTIVE

SENIORITY LEVEL: Junior Level

FUNCTION: Digital Business Solutions (DBS)

LOCATION: Monterrey

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

This position is integral to the DBS function.

The incumbent will be tasked with comprehending the business landscape and key competitors, leveraging business intelligence tools such as MicroStrategy to oversee initiatives, forecasts, and promotions from various angles to evaluate their effectiveness. This role will culminate in executive presentations that assist in pinpointing market opportunities and enhancing our understanding of consumer behavior, ultimately guiding informed business decisions and serving as a trusted information source for other departments. This position will play a pivotal role in identifying and analyzing category trends to convert data into strategic actions.

Reporting Level: Managerial

Geographic Scope: North America

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Develop, lead, and structure deliverables for relevant categories. Gain insights into our brands, competitive brands, and significant category trends. Identify primary market drivers influencing our brands' performance and success. Conduct thorough analyses of performance across essential sales metrics (STW, STR, RSD, Marlin) to uncover key trends and influences. Prepare concise executive analyses and presentations for director-level stakeholders (both local and global). Collaborate across all business categories, pursuing best practices, standardizing processes, and deliverables. Maintain ongoing communication with partners in the USA to understand needs and opportunities, adding value alongside the team.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE

Proficient in data analysis and delivering actionable insights. Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams (Forecasting, Brand teams, Growth Management, Insights, Planning and Deployment, and Trade Marketing). Experience in or collaboration with the S&OP (Sales and Operation Planning) process. Background in data analysis/insights. Familiarity with Business Reporting. Proficient in Excel (preferred). Experience in data reporting and management (preferred). Knowledge of Business Intelligence Tools (Microstrategy or similar). Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Industrial Engineering, Marketing, Finance, or Business Administration. Proven track record of 3+ years in Commercial/market analysis or a related field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with Microstrategy. Previous experience in FMCG companies.
