Victaulic's Mining Sales Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced sales professional to join our team as a Mining Sales Specialist. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop business in the mining industry for Victaulic's engineered products and solutions.
About the Role
This position will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow sales revenue within assigned key accounts. You will work closely with our customers to understand their needs, provide innovative solutions, and drive business growth.
Main Responsibilities
- Account Development: Develop deep relationships with key account decision-makers, understand their culture, and identify opportunities to grow sales revenue.
- Sales Strategy: Collaborate with sales managers to develop and execute annual business plans, aligning with company goals and objectives.
- Product Knowledge: Develop expertise in Victaulic's products and solutions, including mechanical pipe joining innovations.
- Project Pursuit: Execute all phases of project pursuit and management, from design to commissioning, to secure purchase orders and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Relationship Building: Foster lasting relationships with clients, prospects, and distributors, maintaining a strong reputation for Victaulic.
- Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
- Administrative Tasks: Manage expenses, track data, and report on activities, progress, and new ideas to support business growth.
Requirements
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred) and previous sales experience in value-added products/services, preferably related to the mining industry or PVF industry.
- Skills and Qualities: Demonstrated achievements in sales, ability to develop and nurture long-term relationships, solid project management skills, self-motivation, confidence, strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Physical Demands: Willingness to travel extensively throughout the country, occasional lifting of 50+ pounds, and working in adverse weather conditions.
Compensation
The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
