Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Compensation and Benefits Strategist to join our team at Alstom, a leading global player in the rail industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping our total reward strategy, ensuring that we remain competitive in the market while maintaining internal equity.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Statistics, or a related field, along with 3-5 years of experience in HR practices. A working knowledge of job evaluation and analysis systems is essential, as well as exposure to an international environment. Your expertise should also include benefit programs, laws, and regulations, with the ability to assess financial implications of rewards programs.

Your Responsibilities
  • Participate in salary and labour market surveys to determine prevailing pay rates and benefits
  • Contribute to the development of salary bands and budgets, taking into account emerging trends and best practices
  • Conduct ongoing research into compensation and benefits matters, providing insights and recommendations to the HR team
  • Advise HR teams on job analysis, job evaluations, and classifications methodology, as well as review job evaluations
  • Provide counsel and guidance to HR staff on total reward-related questions and issues
  • Support the development of ad hoc total reward analyses, including Total Employee Costs Analytics
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs, including market pricing, maintenance of compensation-related structures, salary bands, and benefits administration
What We Offer

In return for your skills and expertise, we offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
