Job Summary:

Citi is seeking a highly experienced Senior Sales Manager to lead the sales efforts for the Public Sector clients in Latin America. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales leadership, with a strong background in cash management, trade, and technology-based consulting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to increase penetration of Citi's services within the existing client base and acquire new clients.
  • Lead a team of sales professionals with a defined portfolio of Public Sector clients, providing product and sector expertise, and responsible for new cross-sell and retention.
  • Build strong relationships with Public Sector clients as trusted advisors for complex cash management, treasury, and working capital, and trade services.
  • Collaborate with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, and Finance to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain a culture of responsible finance, good governance, and supervision, expense discipline, and ethics.
  • Assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions and ensure that all team members understand the need to do the same, demonstrating proper consideration for the firm's reputation.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of experience, including 8-10+ years' managerial experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of banking products and advanced marketing and selling skills.
  • Proven track record in sale of cash management, trade, and/or technology-based consulting solutions.
  • Managed large client relationships from a banking or product perspective.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage and synthesize multiple pieces of solution/technical data into a single, flowing solution within tight timelines.

Education:

Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred, and managerial experience.

Language:

Spanish and English. Portuguese is a plus.
