Sales Engineer Job Description

Xccelera is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team in Eastern Mexico. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base in the region.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Achieve assigned sales targets by managing and developing distribution channels, penetrating targeted markets, and acquiring new customers.
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach to understand customer needs, develop value propositions, and negotiate terms.
  • Act as a liaison between Xccelera and key customers, providing vital information on new products, services, pricing, and customer orders.
  • Attend trade shows, network, and prospect for new opportunities, qualify and capture leads, demonstrate products, and gather feedback.
  • Manage sales pipeline and forecast sales activity in CRM System, provide regular sales reports and forecasts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to organize meetings and workshops/trainings with customers.
  • Participate in sales team meetings and maintain a 40% - 60% travel requirement within the assigned territory.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or equivalent education.
  • Minimum 5 years of corporate B2B direct selling experience in related industries, power & energy, automotive, factory automation, manufacturing line, and MRO.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Spanish and English.
  • Able to cold call, prospect, and convert calls to actual sales activities with a proven record of finding new sales prospects.
  • Proven success in managing, retaining, and growing existing customers.
  • Ability to develop, modify, and execute sales plans, self-motivated, analytical, and a team player.
  • Ambitious and performance-driven personality, open mind for cultural diversity, and proven business development success.
  • USA VISA required, physically located in Guadalajara, Mexico.


Compensation:

The position offers a competitive salary package, inclusive of a base salary, commission, travel allowance, and more.



Full-time, indefinite contract, salary from $40,000.00 per month, productivity bonus, 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, bachelor's degree required, 3 years of sales experience required, English mandatory, 50% travel desired, on-site employment.
