Job Description

As a Commercial Vehicle Technical Support Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that customer product and warranty issues are resolved efficiently and effectively. You will work closely with our sales teams to provide technical support and training to internal and external customers. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining and increasing the technical knowledge of the team while delivering ZF's commercial vehicle products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resolve customer technical issues quickly and professionally
  • Provide technical assistance and support to customers, call center personnel, repair facilities, and internal teams
  • Maintain and increase the technical knowledge of the team
  • Work closely with sales teams to provide technical support and training
  • Ensure the support of the technical call center by handling escalations and providing training

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of heavy- and medium-duty truck and trailer brake and suspension control systems. You should also have in-depth electrical and/or pneumatic product knowledge, as well as proven technical knowledge for ZF, WABCO, and TRW parts, systems, services, and diagnostic tools.

Education and Experience

You will need to have a minimum Associate Degree in Auto or Diesel Technology or another Technical related field, or a combination of education and experience. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, and you should have at least 3 years of technical and/or service-related experience.

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
