About the Role
This Channel Sales Specialist position at ABB in Guadalajara, Mexico offers a unique opportunity to implement and execute channel sales strategies to drive growth and improve market penetration. Your expertise will be crucial in achieving both qualitative and quantitative targets for the assigned channel, with a focus on orders, revenues, growth, margin, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales plans and bids for Channel partners, ensuring technical and financial accuracy
- Work with the wider sales team to identify and develop new market opportunities
- Implement the agreed channel sales strategy within the approved budget
- Create offers and proposals for channel partners in line with broader sales offers and strategies
- Report progress on channel strategies, plans, and budgets
- Analyze channel activity and take ownership of solving identified problems
Your Background:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in electric motors and variable frequency drives
- Experience preparing monthly sales reports and developing business plans for distribution channels
- Technical knowledge of motors and drives is desirable
- A proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships
- Fluent English language skills (intermediate level)
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial, mechatronic, communications, or electronic engineering
