SalaryThe estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000, depending on experience.
Job DescriptionThe Senior Employee Relations Partner will be responsible for executing the Employee Relations strategy and operations, ensuring an efficient and effective customer-oriented service for employees and managers to create a positive & productive work environment.
- Foster a positive work environment by developing, implementing, and overseeing employee relations programs, policies, and procedures.
- Manage employee grievances, conduct investigations, provide guidance to management on employee relations issues, and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints, harassment, discrimination, and other workplace issues.
- Ensure that all employee relations practices are in compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and HR professionals on handling employee relations issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, terminations, and redundancy actions.
- Implement globally key HR processes related to the employee's lifecycle, such as HR Operations, Performance Management, Talent Management, among other key HR processes.
- Provide advisory services to employees on topics such as engagement, succession planning, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
- Proactively seek and resolve issues that involves employees, their leaders and union (where applicable).
- Recommend and suggest improvements in productivity through process reviews, innovations, and new technologies including identifying automation and shared services opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, support meetings with unions and collective bargaining agreement as required (and when applicable).
- Develop and implement strategies to improve employee relations and promote a positive work culture.
- Create, update, and enforce employee relations policies and procedures in alignment with company goals and legal requirements.
- Mediate and resolve employee grievances, disputes, and conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
- Implement programs and initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Identify opportunities for improving employee relations processes and recommend solutions.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 10-15 years of experience in HR, as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner supporting organizations with a global presence in a matrixed environment responsible for Employee Relations.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) or other country specific HR Certification.
- Advanced English skills.
- A strong understanding of HR best practices and country employment laws.
- Workday HRIS Systems experience.
