Job Summary

The Technical Sales Specialist provides sales support by advising sellers, partners, and distributors on technical issues and specifications of the products developed and marketed by ESET, as well as preparing materials and attending events and meetings where the operation of ESET solutions and features are discussed.

Key Responsibilities
  • To organize, design, and provide training on all technical and operational issues related to ESET security solutions, for customers, distributors, partners, and channels, both online (webinars) and in person.
  • To participate in events and business meetings with customers to make live demonstrations of ESET products and provide advice on their operation.
  • To evaluate customer needs and assist them in the implementation of ESET products.
  • To create testing environments at the facilities of prospects so that they can try the ESET security solutions, monitoring all the testing stages, assisting them, making suggestions based on their specific needs, and providing technical support, in order to close the sale.
  • To design content for training materials and demos for product presentations.
  • To review and approve the sections of the tenders that specify technical product features, in order to check that there are no errors.
  • To respond to technical queries from prospects, partners, and distributors from any LATAM country.
  • To comply with the Information Security Policies and Directives defined by the Company.
  • To integrate ESET Latin America's values into every decision and day-to-day behavior, making them a pillar of the corporate culture and transmitting them in every task.
Requirements
  • Education: Complete tertiary or incomplete university studies in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or similar.
  • Experience: From 3 to 5 years working experience as a Systems Analyst and/or in IT Security.
  • Knowledge: General knowledge of IT Security, General knowledge of Computing or IT Systems, Operating systems: Windows Server, Windows Home, Linux, Mac, Android, Basic programming knowledge (recommended).
  • Language: English: Intermediate level.
  • Managerial skills: Organization, Coordination.
  • Magnitude (Area of Impact): Indirectly responsible for 40% of the quota for the office in Mexico.
  • Additional Information: Travel: 35%, Confidential information: Medium.
