Job Summary

Amazon Web Services Mexico S. De R.L. De C.V. is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Support Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our customers on cloud-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced troubleshooting techniques to resolve customer issues and improve their experience.
  • Drive initiatives to improve support-related processes and customer experience through tutorials, how-to videos, technical articles, and trainings.
  • Leverage customer support experience to provide feedback to internal AWS teams on improving our services and work on critical, highly complex customer problems.
  • Continuously learn and develop new technical skills and professional competencies.
  • Participate in interviewing and coaching/mentoring new team members.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience with application deployment pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes, and/or administration and troubleshooting two or more of the following: DevOps, Deployment, Container Orchestration Management, Configuration Management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Knowledge of the complete deployment lifecycle (design, build, test, deploy) including deployment methods such as Blue/Green, Rolling Deployments.
  • Experience with hypervisor/virtualization, Infrastructure as Code systems (CloudFormation, Terraform).
  • Knowledge or experience with system administration, and troubleshooting operating system (Linux and/or Windows) and networking.
  • Understanding of cloud computing concepts and/or experience with any cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Experience scripting or developing in one or more of the following languages: UNIX Shell, Python, R, Ruby, GO, Java.
