Application Support Specialist - Customer Service
Join a dynamic team of skilled Application Support professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional support for Commercial Engineering. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of the applications you manage, collaborating with a broader global team to enhance our enterprise continuously. Your responsibilities will include incident detection and resolution, change management, and ensuring compliance for a diverse portfolio of applications and infrastructure utilizing various technologies such as .NET, Postgres, Oracle, SQL Server, Java, Linux, Microsoft, relational databases, message queuing, AWS cloud services, and more.

Key Responsibilities
As an Application Support Specialist - Customer Service, you will:

Ensure dependable infrastructure and application operations that align with business requirements across the application portfolio. Collaborate with application development teams to guarantee operational readiness for new applications and features. Work alongside stakeholders, including business teams, product owners, and project management, to define application and process roadmaps. Promote continuous service improvement and innovation in productivity, software quality, and reliability, ensuring SLAs are met or exceeded. Possess a comprehensive understanding of ITIL processes related to incident management, problem management, application lifecycle management, and operational health management. Monitor and analyze key operational and technical metrics for the business. Clearly communicate complex issues, concepts, and solutions to diverse audiences. Engage in significant initiatives such as large-scale upgrades. Collaborate with security, data center, and service governance teams to ensure compliance with internal and external standards and certifications. Maintain up-to-date documentation, processes, and procedures. Foster a culture of continuous learning and stay curious about emerging technologies.

Candidate Profile
You are an ideal candidate for the Application Support Specialist - Customer Service role if you possess:

Experience in supporting applications built on modern architectures and cloud infrastructures, including .NET, Postgres, Oracle, SQL Server, JavaScript frameworks, HTML/CSS/JS, Node.JS, TypeScript, jQuery, Docker, AWS/Azure. 2 to 3 years of experience in an Application Support Analyst capacity. A strong ability to monitor and analyze business operational and technical key metrics.
